March for Mick

March for Mick honours the life of Michael Sobey — a devoted husband to Linda and loving father to their three beautiful children — taken far too soon by bowel cancer. Each year, participants walk 50km, one kilometre for every year of Mick’s life, to raise funds for breakthrough cancer research at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.

Linda is one of the strongest, most incredible women I know. The way she continues to show up for her children and honour Mick’s legacy is truly inspiring. I’m supporting her because I love her, I admire her strength, and I want to stand beside her in this.
