Pauline and William Parsons our much loved parents both unfortunately died of Cancer. Throughout their lives and their own battles wanted to ensure that research could continue in an effort to, one day, see a cure developed for this dreaded disease that impacts so many lives everyday around the world. They were keen supporters of the work undertaken by the Garvan Institute for research in these endeavours and continued to support the Institute right until the end.
In honour of this I have decided to set up a page as reminder of their ongoing desire to hopefully make a difference for others in the future. So, whether it is the anniversary of when they left us or on their birthdays, if you would like to donate a small amount to the Garvan Institute I know that it would make them smile to see people continuing to support the important work that they do in relation to cancer research.
