In memory of John Barry Dixon

John lived with the ongoing challenges of Parkinson's disease for the last decades of his life. He determinedly pursued his independence and continue to  travel and enjoy his capabilities despite the loss of his mobility. John benefited from having a Deep Brain Stimulator, but we hope that medical research and trials will continue to refine such medical interventions and find new treatments for Parkinson's. In honour of his memory his family would appreciate donations to the Garvin Institute of Medical Research in lieu of flowers.

Louise John will always hold a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed some great times together, and I especially remember being thrilled when he gave me a bottle of Grange for my 40th birthday. We will treasure his memory. Cheryl and Vaughan
