I’m not sure if we could ever find the words to thank the staff at The Kinghorn Centre and the super hero’s at SVH the Drs and Nurses who fought and cared for Amanda.
Amanda’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis, not so many years ago, would have meant her time was limited. The Garvan institute funds Cancer trials and research. They focus on how and why cancer develops, and how best treated.
The aim of all Garvan’s research is to create better diagnosis, better individualised treatments, and ultimately, a better prognosis for patients.
