Our beautiful Mother Fran grew her angel wings and flew back to heaven on the 20th of June 2014, aged 61, after an 11 month battle with stage IV Pancreatic Cancer.
Mum suffered a stroke as a consequence of this awful disease but continued to fight on without any life support for 3 days in a coma until her wings grew strong enough to fly to heaven.
She battled over 8 months of chemotherapy and then fought for another 3 months off treatment before God needed her back in heaven.
She is survived by her two daughters, Emma, 32 and Hannah, 25.
As a tribute to Mum's battle and the grace and dignity by which she fought but also lived her life, Â we ask you to please donate to the Garvan institute where pancreatic cancer research is conducted in Sydney. Let's try and conquer this horrible disease.Â
