In memory of Jane Bryant

By Cam Bryant

In August 2015, Jane Bryant was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Despite fighting the disease for more than two years, she passed away on June 14, 2018.

She studied nursing at the Western Sydney University and then went on to work as a registered theatre nurse at St Vincents Private Hospital in Darlinghurst.

She had an adventurous spirit and loved the outdoors – everything from skiing all over the world to returning home to explore the Blue Mountains.

After being diagnosed, Jane became a strong and vocal supporter of breast cancer research.

She dedicated a lot of her time to assisting the Garvan Institute of Medical Research by giving interviews and helping with many fundraising events.

She married Cameron Bryant on June 2, 2017. The two had many precious experiences and adventures together.

Jane is loved and missed by all who knew her.
