Bert himself had several conditions in his life and the money raised here will hopefully be divided between 2 of the research areas, Cancer and Immunology (ITP).
Bert was a very generous man who supported many charities, such as Cancer, Heart & Diabetes. However we often forget the people who are trying to unlock the cures for these diseases. I have always been inspired by the work of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Darlinghurst Sydney.
