I've created this page because I want to make a difference.
Bronte lost her dad, John, just six months ago to a rare autoimmune disease called Ggoodpasture syndrome, a 1 in 1 million diagnosis. He wasn’t just her dad, he was her best friend, her biggest supporter, and someone who meant everything to her.
In honour of John, Bronte and Mitch will be walking for 24 hours straight. This is their way of pushing themselves mentally and physically, while raising awareness for a cause that has had such a profound impact on her life.
Mitch, who has also lost his dad, understands how important it is to spread the word and raise funds for research that can help prevent other families from going through the same loss.
They are raising funds in support of the incredible work done by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. The Institute is dedicated to advancing research into diseases like this, helping to improve treatments and outcomes for people in the future.
Please help support this cause by donating whatever you can. Every contribution, big or small, truly makes a difference. The more people who know about the Garvan Institute, the greater their impact, so sharing this page with your friends and family would also mean so much.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support, it means more than words can express.
