I've created this page because I want to make a difference.

I will be making a second atempt at the Peaks Challenge, one of the most difficult single day cycling events in Australia. On Sunday 8 March I'm riding to raise funds for the Garvan Institute, who conduct groundbreaking research on autoimmune diseases, which affect 1 in 20 Australians.
Common autoimmune diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, alopecia, and multiple sclerosis. The Garvan Institute's work is crucial to finding new treatments for these conditions. My wife Jen's strength in living with alopecia and chronic fatigue is inspiring and makes this cause a very personal one for me.
The Peaks Challenge is equivalent to a Tour de France Queens Stage, covering more than 230km and involving vertical climbing of over 4,500m. The route includes summiting Mount Hotham and Falls Creek and my ambition is to complete the route in less than 9 hours.
I am aiming to raise $2,500 but would love to achieve more and would appreciate a donation of any size. Donations are tax deductible and can be made through this link:

The more people that know about the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
