Journey almost over.
Monday 24th Mar I have attained my monetry goal thanks to my amazing sponsors. Hopefully once the weather breaks a little I will complete the last 5kms with the assistance of my wonderful carers. As I "wheel" around the park and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the Australian bush I know I am lucky. Hopefully the funds that are raised will allow someone else the opportunity to share in this luck. Share

Monday 17th Mar Off after lunch with carer Jacinta in tow. Walked up past St Teresa's Catholic College, thru Doonella estate, down the to the lake via the walking track (great for wheelchairs, dogs, bikes scooters and last but not least people 😀) Another 5kms done and dusted. Share

Monday 17th Mar Whilst walking around the park yesterday I could not help but remember Mick. Also it is coming up to the I year anniversary of a childhood friend who battled this disease with courage, grace and dignity. You are missed Donna. Research is essential in finding better therapies and a cure. Research needs funds. Share
